I couldn’t have said it better myself

Someecards.com is one of my favorite e-card sites. The recipient has to be the right person, with the right sense of humor. Here are my favorite wedding ones:

I first saw these very cool invites on Brooklyn Bride. They are made by Anne Benjamin of MOK DUK and let me tell you,  I am in love! Some are so simple and some are so intricate, but every one of them is visually pleasing.

The one below is so simple, but for anyone who loves typography (ahem, me) it is simply gorgeous.

And this one, well this one is just amazing. How fun would it be to get one of these in the mail?! I wouldn’t want to send the reply card back!

how soon is too soon?

(Three posts in one day! I’m on a roll :)

Ok, so how soon is too soon to buy shoes for your wedding? We are still one year out, but I think I found the perfect shoes a’la J Crew… As you (may or may not) know, our colors are grey and marigold, and these are so flippen perfect:

Do I buy them now? Do I wait to see if they go on sale? Do I wait to see if I find something else? Is it possible to have shoes this cute in my closet for a whole year without wearing them?! These are the right color, the right height, and (my favorite) peep toe…  Tell me! What should I do?!

beautiful

I am loving this invitation’s design and overall feel. And I love the wax seal being used on the invitation itself, rather than on the envelope! Very romantic yet modern. Brought to us by Flush designs. EAD has a post about them up today, check it out!

meh

Meh. That describes this weeks episode of Project Runway. The only redeeming factor:

Ms. Portman is adorable. Visit Project Rungay for some hilarious commentary on all things PR :)

i’m going to love being a wife because it means…

Having a home (ahem, apartment) to call my own which also means a garden (ahem, a few pots of herbs and flowers) and fun gardening accessories! The following lovelies are from Hable Construction.

A gardening apron!

A gardening hat to keep out the sun!

A cot! (ok, i know what you are thinking, when would you need a cot? And the answer… who cares! look at how stylish this one is!)

A beautiful notebook to write about all of my gardening adventures (while sitting on my cot!)

A tote! (To keep all of my gardening stuff in! Or as a beach bag… either or :) )

And these, well these are just cute little lavender satchels :) Could work as wedding favors!

all products can be found and bought here.

for the planner in all of us

Miss. Shortcake over at weddingbee posted about her little handmade carrier to go underneath her dress on her big day! What and amazing idea! Granted you would need to have a pouffy dress with a hoop skirt, but if you do… She even put up a little how to on how to make it and some ideas of what she will put in it, including a cd of music in case anything goes wrong (brilliant!).

some love to the bridesmaids

I love the ‘girls of my wedding’. I have known them for what seems like forever and I can’t wait to grow old with them! While perusing my daily list of wedding blogs I came across these beautiful clutches on etsy wedding. They are made by the seller Red Ruby Rose on etsy, and are simply gorgeous! She offers so many different styles, as well as custom orders, making it easy to find a clutch to match the personality of each one of my seven bridesmaids!

bcbg

Ooooooooooh. BCBG’s new fall line is out.

And a new dress that could work for an on-the-cheap wedding dress. I like the detailing at the neckline!
