Oh. my. goodness.
I just found out that my Davids Bridal dress is a knock off! I am sure most are, but I had no idea. My first dress shopping experience I fell in love with 2 Jim Hjelm dresses, neither of which is the knock off. You can see those dresses here.
I ended up buying this dress from Davids Bridal.
And I just now discovered this dress from Jim Hjelm! Click on the “more views” button! Same exact dress!
I am so excited! I knew I loved my dress, but knowing that it is a knockoff from one of my favorite dress designers, well, that just made my day!

Funny! I have no idea how the insider world of dress design works – I’m sure it’s fascinating. My first fave dress was a Jim Hjelm, too. Gotta love the lace!!!!

Kristy I love that dress! I wanted to try it on, but they only had one on the mannequin and my entire bridal party said it was too “momish”
I still love it though! Lace is my favorite!

Marie: Actually, my dress is a trial dress. The woman said that they only made a limited amount and wanted to see how well they sold before mass producing them! I am not sure when, or if, they will sell it in all stores. I would recommend taking a picture of mine in to a store and seeing if they have any in stock! Due to the limited availability you can’t even order it from the store, it has to be in the store, in your size. Good luck!!
