We Met in a Bar

everything is better with a plan(ner)

I need to go buy myself a moleskine like, today. I gave up my trusted paper and pen planner for my new phone… telling myself I had to get with the times. Well, screw the times. I need my paper and pen planner! I think I am going to go this route:

This guy tells about his moleskine organization skills, and you can see the detailed flickr one here.

I agree wholeheartedly. I’d be lost without my paper planner. And you can’t put little hearts around wedding dates in an electronic day timer!

I actually have a Moleskine pocket calendar from last year, which is laid out a LOT like the handmade one in your picture, but I just looked on amazon to find you one and they are all 7 days on one page and a lined page on the other now. They must’ve changed their layout.

I have seen Moleskine planners both laid out like that one, and with the ruled pages on one side. I actually have the one with the ruled page, which I thought would annoy me and has actually turned out to be a godsend. I write in “meeting with Julie” on my calendar and then directions to Julie’s house on the opposing page! Like magic!
