I got the same reception! I emailed handfuls of popular florists, assuming I would need to reserve their services as early as I would a venue, and after receiving not a single response, I phoned my top choice to investigate. I got the same response as you, minus the "oh honey". It sounded more like "tsk tsk sweetheart, you are waaayyy to early to start booking flowers". Well thanks for your help "sweeheart", I am now planning to grow my own flowers for DIY bouquets and centre pieces! Good luck with the starbucks meeting!
