How about I pick an answer you don’t have up there? Bow around the neck (the very top) or bow around the lid?
Maybe do some with and some without??
No bow… or one that isn’t so thin (i.e. see through) or move the bow to the lip.
I was going to suggest the same as Katy and say to try a bow around the neck. Keep playing around, I’m sure you’ll find something you like.
I love the bow around the middle and around the neck–it definitely pretties it up! I think if you were doing all white flowers, no bow would be great because it would go with the clean, minimalist feel, but if you’re doing colored flowers, I like the bow!
I might get out-voted here, but I say no bow. They’ll look perfect as is when filled with your floral arrangements. Just keep it simple.
I am going with Katy and Allison and saying the bow around the neck. Around the jar like that takes away from the pretty vintage lettering.
NO BOW NO BOW NO BOW!!
They look awesome without. I love them!
I would say NO bow or if you must, bow around the neck. Great jars!
thanks for all the votes girls! I think definitely no bow for the tall mason jars, and a bow around the neck on the “Balls” mason jars… We will see
i vote no bow.
NO BO’
i know i am alone on this… but i love the bow! have you tried looking on ebay for the blue ball jars? i found so many that were brand new, you can buy them in lots very cheap.
No bow!!
I vote no bow or thinner bow around the neck as an alternative.
these are beautiful anyway!
1. love the jars.
2. like the bow, but maybe more towards the top of the jar. Otherwise, no bow.
Bow around the neck of the jar. Use a thicker piece of ribbon…something with a cute pattern might be fun.
Bow around the neck! Maybe something darker, as well.
Those jars are to die for. Where did you find them?
K: I got them at a a local antique shop. They sell the white new ones everywhere (albertson’s… Michael’s) but I haven’t seen the antique blue ones sold in mass anywhere yet. Prices vary but I don’t pay more than $10 for one. Since most of the antique shops are made up of a bunch of different sellers I have found a pretty wide price range. Someone will sell them for $10 and the next booth over has them for $20!
