lopsided
It is a bit lopsided (which will be solved by measuring out the tissue paper to exactly 10×5 rather than eying it…) … and yellow, rather than marigold… but it isn’t half bad

oooh that looks great!! very bright
Very nice!
i love it.
I’m distracted by the hot blonde.
First, FAB.
Second, your wedding is months after mine and I haven’t even thought of beginning my tissue pom poms yet!! Ahhhhh!!!!
surprise: um, thank you? and love your blog. one of the only ones that i read that doesn’t have pictures
maggie: thanks and this is what happens when you are unemployed, you start wedding projects way.too.early!
Lopsided or no, I love it. How did you make it? You’re giving me ideas. =)
kristy: I used the directions from Martha stewarts tissue pom pom napkin rings (http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/article/pom-poms-and-luminarias?autonomy_kw=tissue%20pomander&rsc=image_7) Then I cute the wire so there was about 1 inch of twisted wire left and stuck it into a white foam ball! It was super easy and took a few hours to make while watching television. Since this was a first try I didn’t glue it but for my for-real ones I will use glue to secure the flowers
I LOVE IT!!!!!
the more projects you post… the more excited i am to see it all come together!
loves it.
Ok- I’m LOVIN it. Nice job… now, I wanna try!
Ooooo you should get some of the grey Italian cotton ribbon from Carta on Etsy to hang them with. Very fun! I saw them used on another blog and I loved them!
Oops I hit submit too soon.
Anyway, saw them on another blog and loved them, but I’m too lazy to try and make them!
awesome!!!
Hi! This is my first time checking out your blog- love it! I happened to see this post and thought I would comment. I made tissue balls for my wedding to hang. They looked awesome and I am so happy that we added them. I’m not sure what you are using yours for, but we hung ours around our tent. Anyways, we used the directions for Martha Steward’s tissue pom poms that are right above the directions for the napkin rings…except we used two packages of tissue paper which made them much thicker. They looked just like the picture you have, but sound like they were much easier to make and took less time.
Kristina: I actually tried making the all tissue paper one and it didn’t look so hot, but I think that if I would have doubled it like you did it would have looked better
The one I made took a little bit of time, but i like that it was 100% full and that I can change up the sizes by buying different size foam balls. We will see what I actually go with!
