Kristina: I actually tried making the all tissue paper one and it didn't look so hot, but I think that if I would have doubled it like you did it would have looked better :) The one I made took a little bit of time, but i like that it was 100% full and that I can change up the sizes by buying different size foam balls. We will see what I actually go with!

Hi! This is my first time checking out your blog- love it! I happened to see this post and thought I would comment. I made tissue balls for my wedding to hang. They looked awesome and I am so happy that we added them. I'm not sure what you are using yours for, but we hung ours around our tent. Anyways, we used the directions for Martha Steward's tissue pom poms that are right above the directions for the napkin rings...except we used two packages of tissue paper which made them much thicker. They looked just like the picture you have, but sound like they were much easier to make and took less time.

kristy: I used the directions from Martha stewarts tissue pom pom napkin rings (http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/article/pom-poms-and-luminarias?autonomy_kw=tissue%20pomander&rsc=image_7) Then I cute the wire so there was about 1 inch of twisted wire left and stuck it into a white foam ball! It was super easy and took a few hours to make while watching television. Since this was a first try I didn't glue it but for my for-real ones I will use glue to secure the flowers :)
