i’m lovin’ it
Not having a job really sucks. On the plus side I spend my days at home, working on wedding projects, designing wedding paper for other brides and editing wedding photos.
Bryan got me onto the substitute teacher list at his school (woo hoo!) and today was my TB test. To make up for the pain of the needle ( … ), I treated myself to some good ol’ Mickey D’s (is that how you spell that?) Let me tell you. I haven’t spent any money in quite some time (it is funny how that happens when you stop making it) so spending this $3.65 was a splurge for me. But it was well worth it. Two apple pies and a small mocha just made my morning. The mocha especially, cause it is freaking delicious.
Today I welcome you into my office
Sorry that some are blurry… I need to quit blogging and start editing. You know, something I get paid for
So, my little corner of the living room/dining room/office:

Desk contents for the day: The paper arrived for Lauren’s invitations
And the delicious McDonald’s I told you about.

My inspiration board and my invitation board:

Blogging, and my lovely calendar

And about 1/5 of my crafts

Ok, enough playing around, time for me to get to work

still more love to give :)
Logan over at a fraction of love sent me these pictures of the valentines day card she made her fiance. Apparently great minds think alike
These turned out super cute! Make sure to check out her blog, it is full of DIY greatness and she recently posted about her gocco’d invitations which came out oh-so-sweet!

little lovelies
I love going through little objects. At craft stores, antique stores, wherever. That’s why when I found this website I spent a long time looking at each little piece, thinking of ways I could use them in my everyday life. Or in the wedding. Here are some of my favorites.

flowers for lo
I love that one of my best friends (and bridesmaids) is getting married soon! It has been so fun to go through the planning process together. Especially because I get to do posts on my inspirations for her wedding
Which I am not even sure she sees… it is more for me, less for her
Anyways, her colors are purple, chartreuse and black, and her flowers are mainly orchids. These two bouquets are gorgeous!

“10-23-1983 Married on a Boat, In Newport,In a cool Pantsuit.”
That was the heading of a facebook album from a friend of Bryan and I’s. This couple is super cool, she is an art teacher and photographer extraordinaire, which is why I was not surprised to see these pictures from her wedding day. You really can’t beat a white pantsuit with a red top underneath, a big white bow and red nail polish. You really can’t.

I hope everyone had a lovely Valentines Day
Ours was kick back and wonderful! It involved the best bagels ever, my favorite antique shop, the Orange County Swap Meet (We looked for Vince from Sham Wow but didn’t find him
), Jamba Juice, a little movie in bed action and then dinner at Boudin. A lovely day together if I do say so myself.
And the best part (in my opinion) the card I made him! Remember these goccod cards?!

Well even though I made them, i didn’t really have a use for them. So i cut out the hearts and made this:

I must say, I have made a lot of cards in my day but this one is up towards the top! If you made (or received) an awesome V-Day card, send it to me and I will post it! Send it to heather {at} wemetinabar {dot} com
