programs
And last but not least the program mock ups. These are only vaguely similar to what the real ones will look like. The real ones will be one size bigger (the covers will be out of A2 paper and the inside will be half of than 11×17 sheet), the covers will be grey, and the type will go up and down so that it opens up left to right, rather than top to bottom. This was one where I tried to get it all to fit on half of a sheet of 8.5×11 paper and it just wasn’t fitting. There will be 4 panels. The Party will list everyone in the wedding party and the parents. The ceremony will list the officiant and then the order of service. Special thanks will be a little note from bryan and I and The reception will have the name and address of our reception location as well as a map. This will save me from having to print a whole other card for the directions to go in our invitation envelope. We have a website as well but last we checked only like 17 people had looked at it

They look great (even if you still need to tweak it a bit)! It seems like people haven’t really been looking at our website much, either, considering J’s mom keeps asking questions when the answers are on the site.
I like the idea of having the map in the program!
oh these are so cute too! you’re just one crafty, creative lady!
Wow, chica! Not only is your program awesome, so is your photography! Strong work.
I love it! Love that all the pertinent info is there, and they look great!
I LOVE this idea! I was looking for ideas for programs… and this may be it! (mind if I steal?)
I am absolutely loving these! I think they’re fantastic and can’t wait to see how the real ones turn out!
hey heather! do you mind if i feature the pictures of the mock-ups on my penned & pretty blog!?
I love these! I have also been looking for program ideas….and these are so unique and creative! Were they pretty easy to print?
sara: they were super easy to print! These are made on 8.5×11 paper which turned out to be too small so I will use 11×17 next time. You just divide the page into 4, leave .25 inch margins on every side of every box and that is it! Each sheet gives 2 sets as well, so it is easy and cheap! I used Adobe Illustrator to do it but I am sure it is easy in Word as well
These are so fabulous. I wish I were more creative!
I love the color ribbon you’re using — and the deckled edge of the paper. Looks like you’re on your way to fantastic programs. I had a hard time with mine — punching holes to tie baker’s twine through on the side to create the look of a mini book. I couldn’t look at a screw punch the same way after that! I wish I’d done something sans holes like you did.
ohhhhhhhhhh these are so great! if we were doing programs, I would totally have you make them for us!!
Wow I love the ribbon – could you tell me where it’s from? Thanks!
grace: i got it from this etsy seller: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5477954 !
SO CUTE! I saw these in a magazine and wanted to do them SO BAD! I doubt my printer is capable of printing on 11×17 though. Any tips?! This is exactly what I wanted to do but I couldn’t figure it out!
LOVE these Heather! Can you tell me what yo used for the front and backing? Did you buy the paper as is? If yes, what size (using the 11×17 inside paper)? Thanks!
