LOVE. IT.
Calligraphy is nice, sure. It is pretty, it is romantic, it is great. But it isn’t my style. If I had the budget for envelope addressing I would give all of my money to Danielle over at Galafont.

The architectural style is my absolute favorite. If I could have any kind of handwriting, this would be it.

Seriously, check out Danielle’s work. It is awesome. Plus she will write on just about anything you give her… just imagine the menus and seating charts and place cards… oh imagine it.

Ooo, I love that style of writing as well. I so so so wish I had cool penmanship. I have the handwriting of a physician, unfortunately!
I love all of these newer, funkier styles that calligraphers are offering. So fun!
I thought I was the only girl on the planet who didn’t care for calligraphy. I’m not!
I work at an architectural firm, and most of my co-workers’ handwriting looks just like this. Maybe I could pay one of them to address my wedding invitations? haha
Very nice!
Love hand lettering. I asked a good friend to help address my wedding invitations. She was so flattered that I loved her handwriting so much. I gave her a sweet little gift and she was happy as a clam. Don’t you have a friend with handwriting you love??
Wow, I would be really proud of myself if my handwriting looked like that
Beautiful work!!!
This print is perfect. I tried to copy this style for my own envelopes (used Lotta Jansdotter’s pretty hand lettering as inspiration) — failed miserably, let’s just say.
There are quite a few fonts out there that have similar qualities to this… Without the hand-scribed, each-letter-is-a-little-different appeal, obviously, but more budget-friendly too. I printed directly on our envelopes and am so glad I did.
