My weekend consisted of goccoing, Paper-Sourceing, printing, moving (an old bed out and a new bed in) and putting together the final kids booklets (which you will see later ) 

This is what my dinner table looked like for the better part of the day:

I gocco’d ivory and pink napkins for Kilee’s upcoming wedding with chocolate brown ink. They turned out lovely and now I can’t wait to do my own!

We also created a kissing menu to be placed at each guest’s dinner plate. On one side is a ‘thank you for coming’ kind of note and the other is the kissing menu. So sweet!

The kissing menu details Kilee got the idea from a real wedding she saw on another blog, and then reworded it a bit to fit her needs

Fun fun!  

Thanks to the Chicago Bride-to-Be I just found out that postage will be going up again on May 11th.

10 weeks before my wedding.  

Is that too early to send out invites? 

A little while back I bought a bunch of the heart stamps so I would have to add on two tiffany lamp stamps or the wedding heart one….

Since I can’t blog from work and I am too scared to even prep posts and go on during the day just to hit ‘post’ (i know there is a way to get them on a timer, i know) I made this one count, 3 posts in one!!

#2  My friend (and BM) Lauren just sent out her invitation suite that I designed and I am pretty darn happy with it  Their colors are black, plum and chartreuse and they are using mainly orchids. 

#3  And now for a question!!!  You see, my old job was literally down the street from my apartment so I went home for lunch everyday. Healthy, cheap, wonderful. New job isn’t close enough to come home at lunch, and after just 3 days of eating out (wendys, rubios and burger king) I am in need of a way to bring my lunch to work. And not just a brown bag. I am thinking my Barbie lunch pail from the 1st grade, but updated.  Something that keeps cold food cold, has room for a drink  and the rest of my food, and is easy on the eyes. I need your help! Do you take your lunch to work? What do you recommend?!

I wanted to wait for Brittany of How Sweet It Is… to send out the save the dates I designed for her, and since she posted the pic of them today I am going to go ahead and do it too!  These were so much fun to make! They are a marigold/saffron-ish color paper backed with a chocolate brown matte paper with matching brown envelopes. I am not gonna lie, I love them!

I am in love with the florals from this wedding, but I have no idea who did them! Oh well, they are still gorgeous to look at! I love the red jewel flower in her bouquet! And the centerpieces… gorgeous! All images by Matthew Morgan!

edit: I just previewed this post and noticed that I used an exclamation point after every sentence in the above paragraph… hmm…  I think it is because I am so excited to be blogging, I miss you guys! This whole job things is great and all, but since I am still new, and in a cubicle where anyone can come up behind me and see what I am doing, blogging at work is not happening. I barely even get to read any! It is the highlight of my night to come home and read all my blogs! So, yeah, anyways, I miss you all

Well, I made it through work yesterday. Who knew a month off would make it so difficult to get back into it? Waking up at 6:30 is no bueno. Although I will say that this is my first time having a cubicle and I am super excited to make it cute
