Thanks to the Chicago Bride-to-Be I just found out that postage will be going up again on May 11th.
10 weeks before my wedding.
Is that too early to send out invites?
A little while back I bought a bunch of the heart stamps so I would have to add on two tiffany lamp stamps or the wedding heart one….
Anyways, if you didn’t know, now you do. Happy Saturday

I heard that if you purchase the heart “Forever” stamp, you can still use them even after the price goes up. I haven’t looked that up yet, but that is what I heard.

Postage is RIDICULOUS. I’d do what JaymeLyn says – buy the forever stamps before the price goes up.
I also heard that the postal system is in such a terrible financial position, they are thinking of eliminating a day of delivery. Like either Saturday or Tuesday. I hate mail-free days, even though I rarely get anything fun in the mail, so I hope they don’t take a day of my mail away from me!
I am going to the post office tomorrow to buy forever stamps. Ugh!
I say send them 10 weeks early if you already have the stamps. I don’t think it’s too early. My wedding is in August and if I could get away with sending them before May 11th I would….haha.
Send them out! I sent my invites 7 months in advance and I’m glad I did because the economy took its toll and lucky for us we managed to beat it. we have 94 people coming to our wedding from all around the world – 42 Aussies! I
