If you haven’t noticed, I post at night now, so although it is more than likely Thursday morning as you read this, it is wednesday night while I write

What a lovely hump day. Work in itself wasn’t anything special but afterwork I partook in my first true “happy hour”, you know, the kind you go to after work to loosen up, rather than the kind you go to just because the drinks are cheap. Anyways, it was lovely!  But now I am tired… so I am going to leave you with two things. One, this video. I smiled the entire time. Love the song, love the movie, love that these people did this.

Also, Martha Stewart will be in Northridge signing books on Sunday. Um, yes, I may just have to go to that to have her sign this book:

Happy Hump Day! (Or Happy Thursday )

That is what I have been doing each night.  I come home, make dinner, sit on the couch and fold fold fold, separate separate separate, and repeat.  It will be worth it. yeah.

Also in the ‘on it’s way to being done’ category, the design that will be gocco’d on the napkins

I just mailed off the florist deposit, wooohoooo!  Another thing on my mind…  fresh flowers on our cakes.  Since we won’t be having the traditional wedding cake, all decorated with sugary goodness, I am thinking a few fresh dahlias on each cake might really spruce things up

With a little over three months left till the wedding I have really started to get the “holy moly I need to get things done” feeling.  One of those things is my jewelry. Still haven’t found exactly what I am looking for (probably because I don’t know what that is quite yet)  but I did find some gorgeous, and affordable!, jewelry over at Plum and Sage.

So the other night we went to ikea (yes, that is what I do instead of blog, I go to ikea ) I was originally looking for these two items:

But instead I walked out with these amazing items, all of which will be used on our kids table.

Butcher Paper:

Paper cups to hold crayons, candy and whatever else I decide

And matching paper napkins

I am so glad I added that pink to our palette!

Doesn’t that picture just make you drool?!  My mouth is totally watering right now. If I had my way, I would eat mexican food every day, and drink mexican beer, well, every weekend No beer bellies here please!

And with that I bid you ado. I am off to VEGAS for my friends bachelorette party and I. am. so. excited. I need this weekend.
