We Met in a Bar

double time

Our favors serve two purposes. One: for people to take flowers home and Two: for people to not take our mason jars home.

I bought cello baggies at Target.

Designed and printed out labels using labels from Stuck.

The finished project :) We will put a few under each centerpiece for people to take flowers home after the reception, and to discourage them from walking out with our collection of mason jars (which started waaaay before any wedding talks :) )

It is too weird that you just posted this because I just mentioned this to my friend yesterday! Although… what I mentioned wasn’t nearly as creative. I was just going to ask the grocery store if I could use some of their bouquet sleeves. Love the sticker detail!

This is a really great idea. I think I might have to steal it, because I am VERY afraid of someone walking off with my carefully collected silverplate.

that’s a really smart idea actually. i did the flowers for my friend’s wedding last summer (wildflowers in mason jars) and the caterer gathered all the jars at the end of the wedding to help me pack them up. a few guests thought they were giveaway and walked away with blue mason jars from my collection (and i was using the jars at my wedding too.) definitely a good call to make it clear!

Hey there Heather! Love your blog! Where did you find the little design element you used on your paper suite. I love how simple it is-most that are are there are very “fancy” (and not in a good way). I’m looking for a simple line drawing like that too! Thanks for your help!!!

hi heather… great blog and i know i’m a little late here but just noticed this post and have a quick question for you. how did you cut the labels? did you use a die cutting machine? i have a silhouette cutter and was wondering if that would work. please don’t tell me that {gasp} you cut them by hand :)

Laura: oh no no no, I bought labels from Stuck, although it looks like their site is down for the moment :(
