We Met in a Bar

Three Ring Bride

If a year ago you would have told me that I would have had 3 engagement rings by the time I got married, I would have laughed. Well… ha. ha. ha. :)

Ring #1: The “let’s just get something little so that we can (finally) be officially engaged” ring.

Ring #2: The “Grandmothers Engagement Ring” ring.

Ring #3: The “We got the Grandmothers Engagement Ring resized, which added to it’s frailty (it was from the 1940′s) and in a cold crazy night of clapping and smacking hands (and therefore rings) together the band broke so we had to get it remade, which meant I got to pick out the setting I wanted while still keeping the diamonds from the Grandmothers Engagement Ring” ring. Whew.

Hope you had a good weekend :)

You have such dainty little hands! I have chubby kid looking hands. :(

I like the new ring. It will look really good if you wear it with your original “let’s just get something little so that we can (finally) be officially engaged” band.

They’re all beautiful, and I agree with Kate. You should wear #1 and #3 together, even with your wedding band.

I love all of your rings! The third is definitely beautiful, and having your grandmother’s stone with your new setting is definitely a great combination.

I saw the last picture and I think I recognize it, so I have to ask.. Is it a Martin Flyer ring? If so, it’s the same as my ring! I absolutely adore it.. and if I’m wrong and yours isn’t Martin Flyer, your ring is gorgeous as well :-)

Thanks for all the great comments girls!
Laura: Actually we got it from this little Asian couple, Ann and Sam, who have a booth in an Irvine Jewelry Mart. They were recommended by a friend for custom work so we checked them out. Not a brand name or anything but it was affordable and I am in love with it! I may have to check out this Martin Flyer though!!
