I guess it could be worse - haha. Just over five years ago we decided to have a destination wedding in Cabo. We got in a few days early and as people trickled in, we ended up hanging around the quaint pool area sipping drinks. It was all fine and dandy until the night before the wedding ... when someone said the dreaded words, "your hair looks GREEN". I went to the mirror and looked and sure enough ... GREEN. The chlorine in the water in their pool had turned my hair green. At first I thought ... well ... it's ok ... and THEN the little bridezilla in me said, you will be looking at those photos for the rest of your life. FIX IT! I went to the hotel manager and asked her if there was a beauty supply. Surely there must be ... I mean if it happened here, you could get something to wash the chlorine out. No beauty supply there. I fretted for a few hours ... and then the manager called me back and said that someone would be there to pick me up at 10 am to fix my hair. At 10 am ... a little Mexican lady picked me up in her car and took me to her shop. We pulled up and there were bars over the doors/windows and I talked myself through it ... it's ok ... trust that it will be ok. We went in and she had her two children in there (she was working on a weekend for me - I was her only client). Two hours later ... my hair was pretty damn close to what it was when I arrived in Mexico ... and all was right again. In hind site ... I could have gotten married with green hair ... no matter how the photos turned out ... we still laugh at my green hair so really ... it would have been ok and the images could have been photo shopped just as easily ;-) I can totally relate and once you hear MY story you will think … I guess it could be worse – haha.
