A good friend of mine (known since 6th grade, bridesmaid good) recently moved to San Luis Obispo to be with her boyfriend. As a little going away gift I put together a little somethin’ somethin’.

I feel like this blog is starting over. Like, “ok, wedding: check! now on to…. home!”  I will still post wedding lovelies once in a while, but my newest obsession is home decorating.

Bryan and I went apartment searching this weekend… it didn’t go amazingly. But there is a front runner, in the town that we want, for a price that we want, it just has a few set backs (dark chocolate carpet… no fridge… no microwave…)  but it makes up for it with the in-unit washer and dryer and the light, oh the glorious light! The kitchen is pretty big but lacking a lot of storage space, so I am taking a lot of inspiration from Whitney and what she did to her kitchen.

So, a new obsession with home design blogs has begun, and what better time to discover the newly launched Lonny mag?! I am in love with this magazine. Love. Love. Love.

This is it, the last of the recaps…

Thank you all for following along during these recaps, I have appreciated every comment!  Our wedding was one of the best days I have lived so far, and it was the beginning of such an exciting new adventure.

Speaking of new adventures, it seems very symbolic that the recaps ended on October 1st. It is a new month, a new season (although you wouldn’t know it by how hot it has been lately) and the beginning of our new life together. Bryan and I’s, not you and I’s… although…  We are going apartment shopping this weekend and I am so excited to move into a place that is just a blank slate.

We Met in a Bar will now be the home of weddings (it is hard to fall out of love with them!), home projects/design, food, paper and craft design, and maybe even babies. I hope you will stick along for the ride!
