blessed
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and if you don’t celebrate it, then a wonderful holiday! The last week flew by, and I am back to work this week until Wednesday. We are playing with the idea of going up to San Luis Obispo for New Years… but we will see.
I wanted to share a few of the gifts I received for Christmas with you (only because I was so stoked to receive them!) My family was incredibly blessed this year to be almost completely untouched by the terrible economy. Other than my month long stint as an unemployed house-fiance, we were all employed. I know that the Lord was watching over us, and I give Him all of the credit for our good fortune.
Some of the gifts I received from my wonderful family:
The 2010 Linda & Harriett calendar (my sister scooped one up before they sold out!)

A sewing machine!!! Thanks mom!!!

This amazing book so that I can use my sewing machine!

And some amazing tape and a dispenser!

And my wonderful husband bought me a lovely dress and an H!

Merry Christmas!

Heather-
I am planning a June wedding this year and just wanted to thank you for the great ideas, inspiration and thoughts. I just ordered that Handle and Sprout hair pins yesterday! I love many of your details. Congrats on your marriage and best of luck in the future.
P.S. Hope you dont mind if I use some of your ideas!
I was lucky enough to receive two of the Linda and Harriet calenders!! (I purchased one for myself and received the other as a gift. I have their 2009 calendar and wanted to ensure I got this years’ so I couldn’t count on my hints.) I don’t have any friends who would appreciate the fabulousness of it, but if any reader of this awesome blog would like this sold out calender let me know. Retails for $30, I’ll give it to you for $20 plus shipping.
Brandy: I will for sure put your offer up on the blog! I almost bought myself one too, but by the time i thought about it, they were sold out! I actually told my family about them being out, and how bummed I was. Then, christmas morning, my sister surprised me with it! I don’t think I had ever been so excited to open a gift
