monday!
Usually the word Monday is not followed by a !. But today is the Monday! before Christmas, and that is exciting! Bryan and I will be staying in (unusually warm) California this year, and although we are sad that we were unable to fly back East to see his family (for work reasons) this whole snow storm has made us a little bit grateful. I would love a white Christmas, but I would not love being stuck in an airport.

the elf on the shelf!! when i told my five year old cousin the elf has friends on shelves at school i thought he might pass out. love that book!

Hi Heather, i LOVE your web-site totally (I am sure this is cliched, but I scope out heaps of blogs and dont ever read the comments just browse the ideas and pics-however I am making my way back month by month through all your posts and they are so enjoyable and informative) hence my question
I would like to make my own blog, and was wondering if you could give me any advice on how to get started(where do you get the blog template, hopefully a free one?)
I am located in Australia, so not sure if this makes any difference?
