Although my wedding was almost (!) 6 months ago, I still love looking at wedding blogs. Here are a few pictures I have saved:

I am in need
of a sewing desk. Bryan and I can’t seem to decide on one for our office (he wants white, to match our other desks, I am leaning towards something older and more, well, wooden. If that makes sense). And until we get a desk, I won’t be able to sew. But. As soon as we do get a desk I need to find an excuse to make some invitations, because I need to do something like this:

Tulle, cupcake liners, paper… gorgeous. Oh! Valentines day is next month… hmm… The ideas are a-flowin. You can see more photos of Raya’s handmade invites on her blog, the paper pony.
On a side note, Brandy from Red Collar Prints has found herself with 2 of the sold out 2010 Linda and Harriet calendars. She would like to offer you the $30 calendar for $20 plus shipping! Just contact her at brandy@redcollarprints.com. A lucky someone snagged it up!

From the bride’s classic style, to the secret service groomsmen, to the bold necklaces on the maids, I loved everything about this wedding. Shot by the very talented Matthew Morgan (who has a new blog! Check it out!)

what the bleep is that?!
Funny story…
Last year, on December 23rd, I was mentioning (complaining) that I had nothing to wear to Christmas Eve. Bryan handed me one of my presents from under the tree and said “Maybe this will help” (or something like that). I opened it up and it was the perfect grey dress from Anthropologie. It fit perfectly and best of all he picked it out 100% by himself! What a wonderful (then) fiance.
This year history seemed to repeat itself.
It was December 23rd and I was… mentioning… that I had nothing to wear to Christmas Eve. Bryan walks to the tree, grabs a present in an Anthro box with a pretty felt garland on it and says “Maybe this will help.” (or something like that). This time around I suspected what it was, a darling dress that I had seen on the Anthro website. Bryan had told me “maybe Santa will bring it for you” and I was so excited to get to wear the new dress the next day.
The box was kind of small, but it was only a dress so I didn’t think much of it. I opened the box and unwrapped the tissue paper to find … an adorable gold clutch! Well, I thought to myself, I can’t wear it but I can bring it along! However before I could say anything Bryan looks at the clutch and says “What the bleep is that?!” (he didn’t say bleep). I realized that he was as surprised to see the clutch as I was! Apparently he bought the dress, and paid for Anthropologie to gift-wrap it, and they accidently sent a clutch! Since he hadn’t had to wrap it, the clutch lay undetected under our tree for a good 4 days! Bryan called them up immediately and although the girl was super sweet and very helpful, we were told the dress would arrive by last Monday. A few days after Christmas, but on such short notice what could we expect?
I have been waiting very very patiently.
But, although a week late (well, two if you count back from Christmas), today I received the dress! It is super cute, fits perfectly and I am in love with it.

Anthropologie, even though you sent me a clutch, and then took your sweet time sending me my dress, I am still very much in love with you.
