We Met in a Bar

almost ready

Ok, last weekends trip to Joann’s,  plus some online shopping (etsy all the way!) has me almost ready to start sewing.  I think I am going to try it this weekend… wish me luck!

Some of my supplies… (and no, we aren’t expecting, but we have a few friends who are)

shush! we are gonna have a blast! i ordered lotta’s baby sewing book online last week when i was ordering some david gray cd’s for the hub! i can’t wait for it to arrive! i LOVE her first book (gotta love those swedish designers) and i’m so excited for the baby one. you’re gonna have so much fun with those fabrics (i’m a “favoriter” of umbrella prints on etsy…best stuff!)…can’t wait to see what you whip up! love love your choices :)

I love your fabrics! Can you tell us where the ones in the 2nd picture are from?

Oh, I love those fabrics! Let me know how you like the sewing projects in those books. That might be the kick in the pants I need to pull my sewing machine out of the box (and plop it onto the dining table, because I have nowhere else to put it).

Ya know, you have totally inspired me to dust off my sewing machine this weekend… and learn how to use it. My affair with sewing was over at ‘thread the bobbin’. I have no clue how to set this thing up. But I will learn. Oh yes, I will learn. Thanks for randomly inspiring me!

PS – Your fabric choices make me swoon.
