sewing on the dining table…

… never looked so good.  (Well, it will probably look better during the day time with gorgeous light filling the room, but I didn’t want to wait until this weekend to share the pictures!)  Like I mentioned yesterday, we bought a dining table and drawer unit from Ikea to create a sewing/painting/craft table. I am in love with it.

The drawer unit is on wheels so it can be moved out from under the table if Bryan and I want to work at the desk at the same time.  We still need to purchase a lamp of some sort, but for now, it is just what we needed!

The bottom three drawers hold my fabric (can you spot the cat in the picture?)…

… and the top three hold miscellaneous paper supplies and tools, as well as my gocco items.   Oh to be organized!
