We Met in a Bar

16 weeks

babybump-001.1

Today marks week 16! As my sister put it tonight… almost half way there! I definitely noticed the bump grow this past week, going from “Heather has really let herself go” to “You ask her if she’s pregnant. No you ask her.”  Luckily I told everyone at work a while ago so no issues there. I have noticed more energy in the last few weeks, which is nice, but I am still hungry all of the time and still breaking out (ugh).  We will have a check up in a few days but we won’t get to find out the gender until week 20.  I can not wait to get started on nursery planning, mini-clothes shopping and of course sewing. I don’t think I will go crazy with that though, maybe a few blankets, a few bibs, if it’s a girl then a few dresses, nothing too crazy.

Anyone else pregnant out there? Any questions or perhaps some advice?? I need all of the help I can get!

Yay babies!

Thanks ladies! Jessie: I LOVE Jen Loves Kev! I like the way she did her weeks, although mine won’t be so artsy and awesome :) Can’t wait to see more of your updates! Let me know how Friday goes!!!

If you’re a stomach sleeper, enjoy it now. Pretty soon you won’t be able to!

Oh, and if – around 38 weeks or so – your OB tells you “it could be any day now” don’t tell anyone but your hubby. I made that mistake and my friends and family drove me crazy! I ended up going 8 days past my due date.

That’s my 2 cents :)

Congratulations! You look great! Enjoy this time, it goes by quick. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant!

You look great! I’m 27 weeks pregnant with our first…3 months from today is my due date, but one tip I read was to think of it as a due month since you’re full term from 38-42 weeks…that way less people will annoy you if you go past your due date. ;) The chiropractor has been a big help with keeping my hips and back in line and prenatal yoga has been phenomenal! Destination maternity stores offer free classes. Enjoy this time!

Congrats, so cute!

I’m 19 weeks and feel great- once you get over the tiredness you’ll feel like yourself again!

I didn’t really start showing until right about where you are now. In the past week, I definitely feel bigger. I’m just over 27 weeks and am afraid the next three months are going to just fly by! We’re having a boy… and I found that my mom and step-mom bought enough clothes for this babe to be clothed for a year straight!

Allison: noted!
Amanda: I have heard of due month too! I am due the end of January so I think I should start saying February… just in case :) Also, I just bought a prenatal yoga video to try out this weekend.
Abbie: Congrats on a baby boy! (And for a full wardrobe!!)

Looking great! I am pregnant with my first baby, a girl, due in November. My advice would be to enjoy the second trimester as much as possible before the uncomfortable part sets in…achy hips, back and feet are no fun! Not to mention, all energy goes out the window!

Congratulations and best wishes – pregnancy is the greatest feeling, isn’t it?!
