inspiration to reality
So the day after I posted this inspiration post, I came home to find this waiting outside for me!
My mom is where I get all of my creativity from, as you can see. She had all of the components already and just whipped this up. Love it!

Hi Heather! I’ve been reading your blog religiously for about 2 years now and was always inspired by all your great wedding and decor ideas. Now that I am engaged I can actually use some of them! I really love this twine around the jar look and I’m considering this idea for my centerpieces. I have a question though, how do you secure the twine around the jar without making an ugly knot? Or is there a knot but we just can’t see it.

I tucked the top end under a few rows of the twine. When I finished at the bottom, I had tucked it under a few bottom rows, but then changed my mind and hot glued about the last 2 inches to the jar. This is hemp rope. We bought a big ball of it somewhere … and I had it laying around
