updates
I’ve been away for a while… sorry! With the baby due in just a few weeks I have been busy preparing the apartment, eating and sleeping… it is pretty exciting! Here is what else I have been up to:

Today is my first official day of maternity leave. Wooooooo Hooooooooo! I started the morning off with a nice walk along the beach trail with my mom…
I broke down and took an iPhone picture of myself in our only full size mirror (hopefully soon to be remedied) to get an updated bump picture. This was last week, tomorrow is the 38 week mark!
I set up our co-sleeper, the bouncer, am in the process of washing all of his clothes (newborn-6 months) and sheets, and we bought our stroller! After going back and forth between the Bob and the UPPAbaby we decided on the yellow UPPAbaby. The different options (bassinet, forward facing seat, backward facing seat, option to attach a second seat when needed, infant snugseat so he can sit in it at day one) not to mention the sleek look are what really got us. We bought it at OC Tykes in San Clemente and I would recommend the store to all expecting women out there. They have a ton of stroller options (admittedly mostly higher end strollers) plus baby accessories and high chairs and they are VERY knowledgeable and will help you out in any way they can. The also offer car seat installment and are certified car seat people, so if you are in the area definitely stop by!! They set the stroller up for us and spent a good amount of time showing us every single feature and option. (Sorry for the iPhone pictures!)
Okay, that is all the updates for now. Time to throw another load into the laundry and listen to my Hypnobabies!! Happy Monday!

Hi Heather, I was happy to see your update! I’ve been following your blog the last few months but didn’t know your actual due date…was wondering if the little man had made his debut. GOOD LUCK with your last few weeks of baby prep!
Love the stroller! We are expecting in March (a friend recently passed on your blog to me because of all the lovely baby decor) and we have been trying to decide between the UppaBaby and Bugaboo. Would you please tell me where you found the awesome cup holder/accessory bag??? Thx!!!
Thanks ladies! Kate: We bought the cup holder attachment at OC Tykes, but it says babyjogger.com on it. It has a cup holder, a pouch for phone/keys and a middle pouch that is insulated for juice or anything else you want to keep cold!
The middle pocket is for beer.
