Going on safari

Well, not quite. But this weekend we did go down to the Safari Park, part of the San Diego Zoo. We had never been before so we decided to do a behind the scenes tours for little kids. We got to ride in a cart with one other family, driving around and entering through secret back entrances. We got to feed meerkats (did you know they bark?), catfish and goats,  and had a private viewing with a Tawny Frogmouth. It was a great introduction to the park and we can’t wait to go down again and explore the rest of the exhibits!
