About and Contact

Hello! I am so glad you are here
My name is Heather, and I started this blog shortly after I got engaged. I would read wedding blogs all day and talk about them and Bryan kept telling me to write my own. One day I gave in, said “put it together for me” and here we are. Bryan and I were married on July 18, 2009 in Southern Orange County, California.
I am currently working in Marketing at a non-profit, however I discovered my love for graphic design while getting my Photo-Communications degree and I hope to one day work 100% freelance. I am currently working on a wedding invitation line, as well as editing for a local wedding photographer.
If you are interested in my designs or my photo editing, have a question, want to send me a real wedding you shot/had and would like me to feature it (come on, you know you do) or if you just want to say hi, please feel free to contact me at heather {at} wemetinabar {dot} com
Thanks for visiting!
Best,
Heather
I am looking to take on more freelance work. Here is what I can do for you:
Invitation/ Paper Good Design: If you are looking for custom designed invitations on a budget, please contact me! You can see my work here and here. Again, please contact me at heather {at} wemetinabar {dot} com if you are interested!

Photo Editing: I was a photo-communications major in school which meant that photo editing was key. As of right now I edit for Matthew Morgan Photography. If you are a bride and would like your pictures professionally edited, I am amazing at it
Maybe you couldn’t afford a photographer so you had friends take pictures, maybe you had a photographer but didn’t like the editing, whatever your reason, I am your girl! Please email me at heather {at} wemetinabar {dot} com for pricing and more information.

Here are some editing before and afters for those who would like to see exactly what the big deal is behind editing wedding photos!
1. This is the most basic editing. Taking a photo and pumping up the colors just enough to make it look vibrant and clean. As you can also see however, editing can not un-blur a blurry photo. I have skills but not magic skills

2. Editing can take a normal picture of shoes or a dress and turn it in to an amazing picture.

3. Lastly, editing can solve dull lighting situations. (Again, you have to have an at least decent image to start with… even magic skills have their limits)
