A big congratulations goes out to my lovely friend Natalie, who just got engaged! Time to get back into wedding mode!!

Summer is almost here! And even though I said I was going to make myself a new summer dress…  I may have to cheat by running to anthro to purchase one of these.

I am also loving the cover of their new catalog. It makes me want to be there, wherever she is. Just standing, watching the water, thinking about nothing.

Urban Outfitters just added a ton of new stuff, with two of my favorites being the barnacle vase and the pennant bedding.

It is peony time over at Trader Joe’s. Reason 147298473 that I love TJ’s.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy going to work every morning. But my new coffee mug is really going to help cure those Monday morning blues. I mean, who can’t be happy with a coffee mug that is the color of sunshine and has pennants all over it?!  Buy yours here. (And no, this is not a sponsored post. I have been in need of a pin cushion and I could not bring myself to buy one of the red tomatoes. I know they are a classic, and they do the job, and if you have one, great, but I just couldn’t have one of those sitting on my sewing table.  This has led me to almost 6 months of going without because I couldn’t find on I liked, and couldn’t decide what kind to make. Finally I settled on Martha’s heirloom tomato pattern from this book, but I put my own twist on it. And by twist I mean green patterned fabric and a purple felt heart in the middle. It is a little lopsided and could have used a bit more stuffing, but it will do the job. And it doesn’t remind me of a vegetable.
