in need of
a brooch. Well, my seamstress said it would look nice, and the one she had was, so I am gonna start looking for one. I am going to take a cue from Please Sir and hit up the local antique stores.

!!!!!!!!!!!
All things do happen for a reason. And concerning my ring, the reason was this:

Bryan’s mother recently found his grandmothers engagement ring, and I am honored to be the one to get to wear it! It is a gorgeous ring from the 1940’s (ish) and I love it! It is a little too big (i have tiny fingers!) so we need to get it sized, which is a bummer because I don’t want to take it off! Better pictures later on!

How gorgeous would kraft paper wrapped wedding favors tied in this ribbon be? Buy it here.

to top it all off
I recently saw a post about how Anthropologie has some great headbands that could totally be rocked for your big day. I stopped by to check them out for myself and found some lovelies. I think I may have to buy the bottom one. It is so pretty!

Happy Tuesday
I wanted to share with you a real wedding today. Not only is the bride and her party gorgeous, but the photography was superb! All images shot by Matthew Morgan Photographers and edited by me. One thing to notice here is the bridesmaids. Each wore a different black dress and different black shoes, but they all wore a dark red sash, which really tied the look together, no pun intended
Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3 later today!

I have had this picture in my blog folder for a while so you may have seen it, but I love it so I am going to post it
Such an amazing way to take something so traditional and make it your own.
